Message from Athletic Director

Tatnall Athletics

This website does an excellent job of managing the game schedules, rosters and results. This website communicates with all of the DIAA schools which allows for changes to be done instantly between schools.

The philosophy behind participation in our athletic program is to teach life-long values and ethics that can best be practiced and experienced in an athletic environment. The ability to work in a group setting on a team as well as experiencing the emotions of winning and losing with peers are life-lessons. Most individuals will never remember the scores of games and contests, but they will remember the sacrifices made and the individual and team accomplishments achieved. I see this every year when our alumni come back and share stories with each other. I truly feel that our small school environment allows students to step onto athletic teams and be major contributors and work their way up to leadership roles by their senior year. In addition, the idea of supporting each other and being willing to sacrifice for someone else is experienced daily at Tatnall.
